If you require emergency assistance, such as card lost or stolen, UnionPay cardholders could call your Issuing bank to apply for a UnionPay Emergency Cash Service of up to USD 5,000.

Once cardholders have their Emergency Cash Service approved, they can collect the cash at the nominated emergency cash assistance service outlet. A UnionPay Emergency Cash Service can be completed in as little as 24 hours (subject to authorization by the issuing bank and the actual situation of the service location).

Issuing banks will need to be registered with UnionPay, and provide emergency authorization contact details as well as have established appropriate operational procedures with a 24*7 call center.
