General terms & conditions for the 10% off 2D / 3D / Atmos / IMAX/ D-Box/ VIP house movie tickets
1.During the promotion period (1 Jan 2021 to 30 Jun 2021), all holders of UnionPay Diamond Prestige, Diamond and Platinum cards issued by UnionPay International will be entitled to a 10% discount on any UnionPay card purchase of regular-priced movie tickets (2D, 3D Atmos ,IMAX, D-Box or VIP house) at the box office of UA Cinemas, UA App (Mobile Application) or through its website.
2.The discounted movie ticket price will be rounded up to the nearest dollar.
3.This offer only applies to UnionPay credit card issued by UnionPay International in Hong Kong or Macau.
4.Movie tickets are sold on first come, first served basis, subject to availability. UnionPay International and UA Cinema Circuit Limited accept no liability for any inconvenience caused to any cardholders in "full house" situations.
5.The offer does not apply to films with a screening time with concession or price discounts, Tuesday shows, preview shows, special shows, films being screened within movie festivals, alternative content and or any movies whose distributors request an exemption*, Kid ticket, Student ticket or Senior ticket.
6.Unless otherwise specified, the offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, or special promotions, discounts, cash coupons, gift coupons, movie voucher or promotional coupons. The offer cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
7.UA Cinema Circuit Limited reserves the right to terminate the offer or amend their terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
8.All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of UA Cinema Circuit Limited.
9.In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
General terms & conditions for buy 1, get 1 free ticket offer:
1.During the promotion period, physical cardholders of a UnionPay Diamond or Diamond Prestige card who purchase a regular-priced same-day/pre-sale movie ticket (2D, 3D or IMAX 2D) for a Friday showing at the box office of UA Cinemas, and who have made a single local transaction of at least HKD500 in the same calendar month, will be entitled to a free ticket for the same show by presenting the original credit card payment slip.
2.For this promotion, the following transactions are not considered valid local retail transactions: P2P transfers, SVF wallet top-up, interest-free instalment plans, Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service transactions, traveller’s checks, cash advances, withdrawal/loan amounts under the Balance Transfer Program and Cash Conversion Program, payment to the Inland Revenue Department, bill payments, fees and charges, dynamic currency conversion transactions, auto payments, mutual funds payments, mail/fax/phone orders, insurance transactions, casino transactions, unposted/cancelled/refunded transactions, other unauthorised transactions, or fraudulent or abusive transactions.
3.The cardholder must retain all original sales slips and/or relevant documents. UnionPay International and UA Cinema Circuit Limited reserve the right to request these for inspection at the time of purchase or any time during or after the promotion period. Each sales slip can only be used once. Stamped, reprinted, damaged, or outdated sales slips, or photocopies of sales slips, will not be accepted.
4.No compensation will be made for unused tickets
5.The offer does not apply to films with a screening time with concession or price discounts, Kid ticket, Student ticket or Senior ticket, preview shows, special shows, films being screened within movie festivals, alternative content, movies with duration 130 mins or above, designated houses, any movies whose distributors request an exemption* or tickets purchased via mobile apps, online booking, house booking or bulk purchases.
6.The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, or special promotions, discounts, cash coupons, gift coupons, movie voucher or promotional coupons. The offer cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
