General terms & conditions for the 10% off 2D / 3D / Atmos* (When applicable) movie tickets

1. During the promotion period (1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019), all holders of UnionPay Diamond Prestige, Diamond and Platinum cards issued by UnionPay International will be entitled to a 10% discount on any UnionPay card purchase of regular-priced movie tickets (regular, 3D or Atmos, where available) at the box office of  CINEMA CITY (Langham Place, Chai Wan, JP CANDY PARK BY CINEMA CITY or VICTORIA) or through its website. The following dates are excluded from this offer: 1-2 January 2019, 26 January – 14 February 2019 and 12-31 December 2019.
2. The discounted movie ticket price will be rounded up to the nearest dollar.
3. Cardholders can purchase a maximum of 8 discounted tickets for each transaction.
4. This offer does not apply to 4DX movies.
5. Movie tickets are sold on first come, first served basis, subject to availability. UnionPay International and Cinema City Group Limited accept no liability for any inconvenience caused to any cardholders in "full house" situations.
6. The offer does not apply to films with a screening time with concession or price discounts, films screening on Tuesdays, preview films, special films, films being screened within movie festivals, alternative content and any movies whose distributors request an exemption, as displayed on noticeboards of cinema lobbies.
7. Unless otherwise specified, the offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, or special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons. The offer cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
8. UnionPay International and Cinema City Group Limited reserve the right to terminate the offer or amend their terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
9. All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of UnionPay International and Cinema City Group Limited.
10. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

General terms & conditions for buy 1, get 1 free ticket offer:

1. During the promotion period (1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019), holders of a UnionPay Diamond or Diamond Prestige card who purchase a regular-priced same-day/pre-sale movie ticket (regular or 3D) for a Friday or Saturday showing at the box office of CINEMA CITY (Langham Place, Chai Wan, JP CANDY PARK BY CINEMA CITY or VICTORIA), and who have made a single local transaction of at least HKD300 in the same or previous calendar month, will be entitled to a free ticket for the same showing. The following dates are excluded from this offer: 1-2 January 2019, 26 January – 14 February 2019 and 12-31 December 2019.
2. For this promotion, the following transactions are not considered valid local retail transactions: P2P transfers, SVF wallet top-up, interest-free instalment plans, Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service transactions, traveller’s checks, cash advances, withdrawal/loan amounts under the Balance Transfer Program and Cash Conversion Program, payment to the Inland Revenue Department, bill payments, fees and charges, dynamic currency conversion transactions, auto payments, mutual funds payments, mail/fax/phone orders, insurance transactions, casino transactions, unposted/cancelled/refunded transactions, other unauthorised transactions, or fraudulent or abusive transactions.
3. The cardholder must retain all original sales slips and/or relevant documents. UnionPay International and Cinema City Group Limited reserve the right to request these for inspection at the time of purchase or any time during or after the promotion period. Each sales slip can only be used once. Stamped, reprinted, damaged, or outdated sales slips, or photocopies of sales slips, will not be accepted.
4. Each UnionPay Diamond Prestige or Diamond card is only entitled to one free movie ticket every week (Monday – Saturday) during the promotion period.
5. No compensation will be made for unused tickets.

General terms and conditions for the 10% concession discount offer:

1. UnionPay Diamond and Diamond Prestige cardholders will be entitled to a 10% discount on any purchase of regular-priced concession items made using a UnionPay card at the concession counter of CINEMA CITY (Langham Place, Chai Wan, JP CANDY PARK BY CINEMA CITY or VICTORIA within the promotion period (1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019, both days inclusive). 
2. The offer of a 10% discount on concession items applies only to the principal and supplementary cardholders of UnionPay Diamond Prestige or Diamond cards issued by UnionPay.
3. The discounted concession price will be rounded up to the nearest dollar.
4. Unless otherwise specified, the offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, or special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons. The offer cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
5. In the event that a discounted transaction is subsequently cancelled, refunded, or found fraudulent/abusive, UnionPay International reserves the absolute right to charge the equivalent value of the offer directly to the eligible card's account, to forfeit the cardholder's eligibility to enjoy the offer, and/or to suspend the card account for investigation without prior notice.
6. To be eligible for the offer, card accounts should be valid, in good standing and in compliance with the conditions that may be imposed by UnionPay International from time to time.
7. UnionPay International and Cinema City Group Limited reserve the right to terminate these offers or amend their terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
