Terms & Conditions
  1. The redemption for the specified Travel Rewards (“Travel Rewards”) is until 31 March 2024. The usage for the Travel Rewards is until 31 December 2024.
  2. Travel Rewards apply to the principal UnionPay Diamond Prestige credit card holders (“Cardholders”) who have achieved the target spending requirement. The credit cards shall be issued by UnionPay-approved designated institutions in Hong Kong and Macau (“Eligible Cards”).
  3. The 2023 calendar year starts from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023.
  4. Cardholders are required to achieve the target spending in Eligible Transactions (as defined below) in each calendar year using the same Eligible Card prior to redemption of a given Travel Reward (HKD, MOP, and CNY spending will be combined to calculate Eligible Transaction amounts, with every CNY1 or MOP1 spent calculated as HKD1). Redemption for the Travel Reward will not be processed without proof of Eligible Transactions.

  5. All retail purchases, autopay transactions, Octopus reloading, Apple Pay, Huawei Pay, and online bill payments are eligible (“Eligible Transactions”).
  6. he following transactions will not be counted towards the spending requirement: transactions not posted, cash advance, balance transfers, P2P transfers, SVF wallet top-ups, instalment loans, interest-free instalment transactions, finance charges, late charges, account service charges, payments for insurance policies issued by insurance companies, tax payments, and any transactions that have been canceled or refunded.
  7. All Eligible Transactions must be posted based on the transaction dates as shown on the monthly credit card statement. Transactions made by the principal and supplementary cardholders of the same credit card account will be counted collectively.
  8. Upon making any redemption, Cardholders must provide their full names and card numbers (as they appear on the Eligible Cards), mobile phone numbers, email addresses, and monthly credit card statements as proof of Eligible Transactions. Redemption for the Travel Rewards must be made through the UnionPay Prestige Concierge Hotline via phone at +852 2169 0908 / +853 6262 6326 or by email at prestigehk@unionpayintl.com, and it requires at least 30 business days for processing.
  9. After successful redemption, Cardholders will receive a confirmation by email. The service provider of the Travel Rewards, Asia Prestige Lifestyle Limited (“APL”) will arrange the bookings of the designated Travel Reward tours/packages.
  10. Cardholder is entitled to redeem the Travel Reward one time in connection with one designated Travel Reward tour/package in each calendar year, subject to quota availability. Each transaction proof can only be used for one redemption and is non-transferable to another Travel Reward once the redemption is confirmed.
  11. Travel Rewards are subject to quotas, availability, the terms and conditions of the promotion, and the service provider’s rules and regulations. Travel Rewards are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
  12. Travel Rewards are strictly not for sale. UnionPay International reserves the right to cancel any Travel Reward that has been resold.

  14. Travel Reward is personal and to be utilized exclusively by the Cardholder plus one guest.
  15. The booking must be made with APL at least 14 business days prior to the start date of the travel and is subject to availability, capacity control, and the respective booking policies of the applicable airlines, hotels, packages, car rental, tours, and activities provider. Travel Reward is subject to blackout dates.
  16. The first departure date of the selected designated travel package must be not later than 31 December 2024.
  17. No cancellation or amendment will be allowed once the booking is confirmed. Once a booking is made with a registered name, the traveler’s name cannot be changed.
  18. Travel Reward can be redeemed for two travelers for the same travel package. The two travelers must travel and check in together, take the same outbound and inbound flights and share the same hotel room for the entire journey.
  19. Travel Reward is not applicable for settling payment of airport/port taxes, security service charges, fuel surcharges, taxes, insurance payments, or any other miscellaneous charges.
  20. All expenses, including but not limited to meals, taxes or duties, gratuities, excess baggage, travel and personal insurance, personal and transport expenses, visa fees and travel documents, optional tours, hotel and air-ticket class upgrades, vaccinations, testing, and any other measures, and any other incidental expenses in conjunction with the travel packages redeemed are not included, unless otherwise specified.
  21. If the value of the Travel Reward package chosen exceeds the specified Travel Reward, the Cardholder will have to pay the difference with the Diamond Prestige card. If the value is less than the specified Travel Reward, the difference will not be refunded to the Cardholder.
  22. Travel Rewards cannot be transferred, used in conjunction with other promotional offers, membership privileges, gift certificates, credit letters, discounts or coupons, or exchanged for cash, other products or services.
  23. The personal information will only be used and shared for legitimate and specific purposes necessary to provide the service. Authorized partners may not use this information for any other purposes.
  24. UnionPay Prestige Concierge is a service provided by Entertainment Group (Asia) Limited (“EGAL”). All references to UnionPay Prestige Concierge refer to EGAL.
  25. Travel Rewards are governed by these terms and conditions and other terms and conditions stipulated by the associated service providers. UnionPay International, APL, and the associated service providers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions, as well as any other terms and conditions of the Travel Rewards, and to terminate the Travel Rewards at any time without prior notice to Cardholders. UnionPay International, APL, and the associated service providers accept no liability for any such changes.
  26. In the event of any fraud or abuse, UnionPay International and APL reserve the absolute right to forfeit the Cardholder’s eligibility to utilize the Travel Reward without prior notice.
  27. In case of any disputes, the decision of UnionPay International and APL shall be final and conclusive.
  28. In the event of any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
